Chairman
Dr Webster has been Chairman of The Purist Company Board since its formation in August 1997.
He is also Chairman of four other private Australian companies and is a Council Member of the Postgraduate Foundation in Veterinary Science, University of Sydney. Dr Webster was formally Technical Director (1970-1980) then Managing Director (1980-1993) of the animal health company Arthur Webster Pty Ltd, then Cyanamid Webster Pty Ltd (1993-1995), a Non-Executive Director of pharmaceutical company CSL Ltd (1998-2006) and a member of the Board of Governors University of Western Sydney.
Will Evans

Executive Director and Founder
Will Evans co-founded The Purist Company in 1997 with Dr Arthur Webster. Will was the Managing Director of the Company from its inception until 2000 when he was appointed Technical Director so that he could focus on his primary skills area of cosmetic product development. Will has been involved in the development of naturally based personal care products for over 30 years and is well known internationally for the purity and efficacy of his innovative formulations. Will graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) degree from the Western Australia Institute of Technology (now Curtin University) in 1973. He is a member of the Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists and a regular speaker at various conferences, schools and television events.
Paul O’Brien
Non-Executive Director
Paul brings to The Purist Company over 30 years of Management, Sales and Marketing experience with major FMCG multinationals. His previous senior management roles include: General Manager and Board Director, Parke Davis-Wellcome Consumer Group, GM and Director Consumer Healthcare, Wellcome Australia and NZ, GM and Director, Bristol Myers Consumer Group, Director Toiletries Division, Revlon Australia P/L.
Paul was the founder and President of the Private Label Manufacturers Association of Australia & New Zealand and is a Director of Savannah Marketing Services P/L, a marketing and management consultancy representing international Private Label manufacturers.
Sarah Webster
Non-Executive Director
Ms Sarah Webster joined The Purist Company in September 2007.
Sarah brings to The Purist Company 15 years of operational and strategic experience in large multi national corporations as well as small business. Previous corporate roles include marketing, sales and management positions with Pepsico, Fort Dodge, Bioproperties Australia and Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Sarah now operates a marketing consulting business as well as co managing a cattle grazing property in the central tablelands of NSW.
Michael Tsang
BEc., CPA
Company Secretary
Mr Tsang joined The Purist Company in January 2006
as Financial Controller. On the 22nd February 2007 he was
appointed as the Company Secretary by the Board. He previously worked with Schott, an International Company based in Germany, from 1987 to 2006 as the Financial Controller and Company Secretary of its Joint Venture operations in Australia and New Zealand. He is also a
Member of the National Tax and Accountants Association (NTAA).
